Turned Up to Eleven
Breakout star Millie Bobby Brown, who plays the troubled and powerful Eleven, was unable to give anything away about her part in the new season so instead reflected on performing the role previously.
"It was obviously difficult; I had very few lines," said Brown, who was nominated for an Emmy for the performance. "I had to express everything with my face, which is very hard. But it gets easier when you feel more comfortable with your character."
Brown added that she fell in love with the character after just a couple of episodes, and her biggest challenge was having to cry on cue. "I feel like I’m a happy person in real life ... I need five minutes to get in the zone," she said.
