The Lovers
One of the more intriguing premises of the season (and easily one of the best trailers as well) finds Azazel Jacobs, who directed the underrated HBO series "Doll & Em," partnering with A24, the hottest indie studio around. And the cast? Superb. Look beyond the easy appeal of Debra Winger playing one half of a long-married couple who seem to rekindle their relationship after they've both found passion with other people, and there just might be a solid story with fine performances about what it takes to truly experience a separation. —Arno
