Michael J. Fox believes Taylor Swift and Ryan Reynolds are among notable figures who will have an even greater impact in the next 50 years.
During a recent interview with People Magazine, the Back to the Future star said both the singer and actor came to mind when he thinks of people who are going to be “really important,” even in the future.
“I think she moves economies, she changes the way the world works, and that’s amazing,” Fox said of Swift, noting her impact with what she’s “said publicly about issues.” The Grammy-winning singer has spoken out in support of the LGBTQ community, as well as shared the importance of registering to vote with her fans, leading to spikes in voter registration.
As for Reynolds, Fox called the Deadpool star “so smart” and “talented,” and someone who “knows how to leverage things and make them succeed in other areas.

Imagine your past dark moments in life being used as a joke in front of thousands of people while you sit in the audience unable to do anything.
That’s exactly what happened last month March 10 at the 2024 Oscars which took place at Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
At the 96th Academy Awards, the host of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Jimmy Kimmel had the honor to host the event but during his opening monologue, Jimmy dropped some very uncomfortable comments about the “Iron Man” Robert Downey Junior’s well-known substance abuse past.
While the actor who was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his outstanding performance as Lewis Strauss in “Oppenheimer” didn’t say anything concerning Jimmy’s jokes, he finally broke his silence in a recent interview with “Esquire” published April 8.
It turns out that although Robert looked uncomfortable at the Oscars during Jimmy’s jokes, he didn’t take it to heart.

Inside Broadway’s James Earl Jones Theatre on a recent afternoon, Huey Lewis has some actual good news. Checking his texts, he learns that Martin Short will be attending the opening of The Heart of Rock and Roll, the rom-com musical based around songs from his catalog. Also on the list for the first-night celebration are Michael J. Fox and the members of Lewis’ band, the News.
But anyone expecting Lewis to jump onstage and join the cast in song will be disappointed. “Can’t do it,” he says resolutely.

Back to the Future is often hailed as one of the timeless classics in the realm of the sci-fi genre. It was not the first film that introduced the concept of time travel, and certainly, it won’t be the last with this similar idea. However, what sets this film apart is how much love it has garnered from the fans.
A still from Back to the Future
The film was unique in its very core, as it not only introduced a light and easy-to-understand plot but also intriguing gadgets that viewers desired to have. One of them is Nike Mag, which set the trend with its sleek design and self-lacing technology. The sneaker became a coveted item for sneakerheads, who were drawn by it, however, its price stopped it from being in the collection of the richest collectors and even Conor McGregor and Jake Gyllenhaal were astounded to hear its price.

After winning hearts through manga and anime, One Piece once again had fans’ complete attention in its hold with its most recent live-action adaptation. Steven Spielberg has been awarded the title of one of the best filmmakers of all time and it is for good reason. The films that he has released have shaped an entire generation of movie watchers and helped revolutionize Hollywood into what it is today. Larry David’s popular HBO sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm is closing the book this season and the final year of the show has been in full swing. This year would also, unfortunately, see the passing of one of the show’s stars and close friend of Larry David, Richard Lewis. As the show makes its final run, it would continue to bring on guest appearances of certain actors to play over-the-top versions of themselves. David would previously have hilarious clashes with famous guest stars like Shaquille O’Neal, Michael J. Fox and the Seinfeld cast. This year brought in Full House star Lori Loughlin as she pokes fun at her college admissions scandal from 2019 (which would also involve Felicity Huffman).
Loughlin uses Larry as a sponsor to enter a country club as she loves to play golf, and hilariously, Loughlin hasn’t learned a thing from her experiences as she keeps cheating.

When it comes to Apple’s Hollywood ambitions, it’s all about spending big to win big.
On March 10, the tech giant has 13 shots to take home an Oscar via two historical epics, “Killers of the Flower Moon” and “Napoleon,” which nabbed 10 and three nominations, respectively. That’s given Apple the second-biggest haul among the major studios and streamers, just behind Netflix’s 18 nods and tied with Universal and Searchlight.
But at what price? Sources say the Martin Scorsese-helmed “Killers” cost an eye-popping $215 million (that includes about $40 million in Covid-related costs). In fact, Apple spent at least $700 million to make and market just three films: “Killers,” Ridley Scott’s “Napoleon” and Matthew Vaughn’s “Argylle.” The trio have earned a combined $466 million worldwide at the box office, with “Napoleon” leading the pack at $221 million, followed by “Killers” ($157 million) and “Argylle” ($88 million).
Apple isn’t complaining, at least not about “Killers” or “Napoleon.

The BAFTAs have responded to reports that a social media prankster joined the Oppenheimer team onstage as they accepted the best film prize at Sunday’s awards.
The man, whom the British Academy did not name, was “removed by security” after he took the stage with Oppenheimer writer-director-producer Christopher Nolan, producers Emma Thomas and Charles Roven and actor Cillian Murphy.
“We are taking this very seriously and don’t wish to grant him any publicity by commenting further,” a spokesperson for BAFTA added in a statement.
The man, wearing a dark suit and black hat, could be seen standing behind Thomas as she delivered her acceptance speech alongside Nolan and Murphy.
Viewers may have thought he was affiliated with the film as he appeared to take the stage as Thomas urged more of the Oppenheimer team to join her onstage.
