Emily Carpenter worked as an actress in theater and television in
Atlanta, Georgia until deciding to create a production company with
Jamie Doss. She and Doss wrote and produced their first feature,
Southern Heart (1999), and are
working on several new projects. She has also formed Spring Street
Films, a company dedicated to producing indie films.
