“Family Guy” creator and executive producer Seth MacFarlane shared insight at PaleyFest on whether or not the Griffin family will ever make it to the big screen in a full-length feature film. The show’s cast also brought the house down Friday with a live table read of upcoming episode “The Edible Arrangement” and nine performances of musical classics from the series as the show celebrates its 25th anniversary.
Without giving too much of the goodness away, the episode the cast did a table read for — written by Travis Bowe — is titled “The Edible Arrangement.” It’s centered on Lois and Stewie bonding after consuming a few of Brian’s weed-infused gummies. The episode features the first time Lois has ever heard Stewie talk, which provides Stewie with the perfect opportunity to tell her all about his old plot to murder her.

MacFarlane continued, “There was a time when I thought, it’s time to wrap it up. At this point, we’ve reached escape velocity. I don’t know that there’s any reason to stop at this point unless people get sick of it. Unless the numbers show that people just are,...

After more than two decades on air, Seth MacFarlane’s adult animated series “Family Guy” continues to — as its characters sing in its theme song — make us laugh and cry.
Lucky there was a man to give the world the iconic yet majorly dysfunctional animated family that is Peter, Lois, Chris, Meg, Stewie and Brian Griffin. MacFarlane created the show, which made its debut on Jan. 31, 1999, after his days working as an animator and writer at Hanna-Barbara, known as Cartoon Network today.
And although it’s never taken home the most elite Emmy award in animation, Outstanding Comedy Series or Outstanding Animated Program, the show remains a fan-favorite 21 seasons in.
The most recent season recently wrapped up its run on Fox, but where can you stream old episodes of “Family Guy?” And where will new ones be streaming when the show returns in the fall? All your “Family Guy” questions answered below.

Out of all the holiday-themed horror movies that have piled up under the proverbial tree over the decades, there's a strong case to be made that Michael Dougherty's "Krampus" stands as the truest to the Christmas spirit. Released in 2015, the film has dug a cozy little niche for itself as an annual tradition for those looking for something a bit more twisted in their yuletide cheer.
Although the title monster does rear his horned head, Krampus — like Santa Claus — depends on his helpers to carry out his night's work. In this case, that means a horde of evil elves, a posse of demonic toys, and a trio of killer gingerbread men, the last of which emit tiny grunts of sadistic glee, voiced by some very fitting guest stars.
"Krampus" is ostensibly a horror-comedy, but it's one of the rare modern films in that subgenre in which the laughs don't drown out the screams.

The fourth episode of “The Masked Singer” on October 14 saw the return of five stars from Group B who had shone in their first appearance two weeks ago. A half dozen contestants had competed on episode 2 of season 4. Five — who were disguised as the Baby Alien, Crocodile, Seahorse, Serpent and Whatchamacallit — won over the audience with their singing. The sixth, the Gremlin, failed to impress both the audience and the four judges and was revealed by host Nick Cannon to be Oscar-nominated actor Mickey Rourke.
We’ve been busy since that second episode trying to figure out which famous faces are hiding beneath these elaborate masks. Keep reading if you want to know as we have all “The Masked Singer” spoilers, including the name of the Baby Alien, who dazzled the crowd with a toe-tapping cover of “Faith” by George Michael in his first appearance.

As the lights dim for the "Family Guy" panel in San Diego Comic-Con's large Ballroom 20, a video plays in which show creator Seth MacFarlane apologizes to fans for not being there "shaking a thousand strange hands and being coughed on."
MacFarlane's presence was sorely missed, as was Mila Kunis', but there was still plenty of talent on hand. Executive producers and showrunners Steve Callaghan and Rich Appel took the stage along with executive producer Danny Smith and actors Mike Henry (Cleveland Brown), Patrick Warburton (Joe Swanson), Alex Borstein (Lois Griffin), and Seth Green (Chris Griffin).
Callaghan starts the panel with a bang by revealing that one of the Griffins will be killed and replaced with a new character in Season 12. "It could be anyone, any one of our six main cast," he adds. It did not seem like he was joking, and the crowd didn't quite know what to think.

With "Midnight in Paris," Woody Allen's comic look at nostalgia and its limitations, having earned four Oscar nominations last week (including nods for Best Picture, Allen's direction and his original screenplay), it's a good time to take a look back at Allen's 1987 comedy "Radio Days." Another comic take on nostalgia, "Radio Days" is now officially a golden oldie itself, having been released exactly 25 years ago, on January 30, 1987. A fond look, filtered through memory, of a 1940s New York childhood, the radio broadcasts that captivated audiences back then, and the behind-the-scenes gossip about the performers who voiced them, "Radio Days" may be best known today for launching the career of Seth Green -- then a 12-year-old who played the Allen-like narrator as a boy. But there's also a wealth of little-known true stories behind the film, some of them from Allen's own life, some from classic radio lore, and some...

London, Oct 22: 'Family Guy' star Seth Green is working on an animated sitcom based on the 'Star Wars' saga.
According to Howard Roffman, head of licensing at Lucasfilm, the series would premiere "within the next two years" but refused to be drawn on the details.
Family Guy has already created three one-off specials based on the first 'Star Wars' trilogy.
Roffman added that the inspiration had also been drawn from French And Saunders' spoof of 'The Phantom Menace'.
The licensing head said that he had shown the spoof to Star Wars creator George Lucas with apprehension in his heart, but it only made him laugh out hard, the BBC reported.

Actor Seth Green has largely stuck to animated comedy lately, playing Chris Griffin in Family Guy, providing motion capture for Mars Needs Moms, and writing for, doing voices for, and producing his stop-motion Adult Swim show, Robot Chicken.
Having more than proven himself in comedy, Green’s gearing up to give drama a try. The Hollywood Reporter confirms the actor has been cast opposite Lou Taylor Pucci (Thumbsucker) in The Story of Luke, a film about an autistic man (Pucci) trying to find a job and a girlfriend. Green stars as Zach, a character who “plays an instrumental role in coaching Luke in his journey.”
The Story of Luke was written by Alonso Mayo based on his own documentary, Just Like Anyone, about families of children with developmental disabilities at his mother’s education and rehabilitation school in Peru. It will be Mayo’s fictional directorial debut.

It's a drunken Saturday morning in Bristol. My head is tormented by a low, buzzing sensation, no doubt caused by the previous night's discotheque adventures. My mouth is reminiscent of a college party aftermath, both in texture and bile-infused sickness; and the copious levels of alcohol consumed are now making themselves known through every pore in my body (seriously, I am sweating Jack Daniel's at this point).

Back at San Diego Comic-Con this summer, "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane showed off a first-look at "It's a Trap!," the final installment in the animated series' parodies of the "Star Wars" franchise. But unless you were lucky enough to be sitting in those hallowed, geek-filled halls, you've barely seen anything from the hour-long episode, which tweaks "Return of the Jedi" to hilarious effect.
That's why MTV News is happy to present nine minutes from "It's a Trap," which hits DVD and Blu-ray Tuesday. "It's more of exactly the same kind of jokes you've seen in the other two," MacFarlane deadpanned in a Comic-Con chat with us. "So if you like those, this...

"Family Guy: It's A Trap!", the final uncensored, animated parody of "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi" will be released December 21st on DVD/Blu-ray from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.
The new film, follows the successful DVD releases of "Family Guy: Blue Harvest" and "Family Guy: Something, Something, Something Dark Side."
"...'Luke Skywalker' (Chris Griffin) and 'Princess Leia' (Lois Griffin) must travel to 'Tatooine' to free 'Han Solo' (Peter Griffin) by infiltrating the wretched stronghold of 'Jabba the Hutt' (Joe), the galaxy's most loathsome and dreadful gangster. Reunited, the Rebels team up with a tribe of 'Ewoks' to combat the 'Imperial' forces on the forest moon of 'Endor'.

Following Family Guy: Blue Harvest and Family Guy: Something, Something, Something, Dark Side, the third (and final?) Star Wars spoof from Seth McFarlane and co.’s Family Guy takes pot shots at Return of the Jedi in Family Guy: It’s a Trap.
According to blastr, the episode sticks closely to the plot of the film:
Luke Skywalker (Chris Griffin) must rescue Han Solo (Peter Griffin) and Leia (Lois) from Jabba’s clutches and then jet over to Endor to take on Darth Vader (Stewie) and the Emperor (Carter Pewterschmidt).
And in case you were wondering, yes there are apparently Ewoks in the episode! Family Guy: It’s a Trap is released on DVD on December 21st.

December will be a pretty sweet month for "Star Wars" aficionados, with both "Family Guy" and "Robot Chicken" rolling out third installments of their respective parodies. On the "Family Guy" front, Seth MacFarlane & Co. will be taking on "Return of the Jedi" on December 21, with "Robot Chicken" taking fans to a galaxy far, far away a week earlier on December 12.
Fans of both shows have surely noticed some level of crossover, thanks mostly to "Chicken" co-creator Seth Green who also doubles as the voice of Chris Griffin on the hit Fox series. But according to Green, "Family Guy" and "Robot Chicken" are careful to avoid any doubling of jokes when it come to George Lucas' empire.
"We're covering all the same topics without overlapping each other," Green told us at the New York Comic Con. "We're telling jokes about the same stuff but we're not telling the same jokes.

It feels weird doing a review on the Family Guy season finale, "Something, Something, Something, Dark Side," which has already been out nearly six months on DVD, where I first watched it. Since the powers that be decided to save the episode to air as the finale, here's our review after watching the episode for a second time.
We're not huge Star Wars nuts, but are certainly big enough fans to appreciate the show's parodies of the films. While clearly a follow-up won't be as original or fresh as the original parody of A New Hope was with "Blue Harvest," there was still an entire movie and new cast of characters to make fun of.
We're actually really happy with McFarlane and crew's decision to split the parody up into three hour-long episodes, each being complete parodies of individual films. It really leaves for some fun material as they're able...
