Reba McEntire is primed to headline a sitcom for the first time in more than a decade with a new NBC pilot, a project that reunites her with producers, writers, and at least one star of her 2000s WB series Reba. The pilot — which McEntire says is titled Happy’s Place — stars the singer as a tavern proprietor named Bobbie. “My dad was the owner, and I’ve been running it for the last ten years, and my dad dies,” she explains to Entertainment Tonight. “So I find out some information at the reading of his will that I’m not too happy with, so…” That information is that she has a half-sister, played by Belissa Escobedo (Blue Beetle), who’s joining the tavern team as her new business partner. Reba costar Melissa Peterman, meanwhile, will play Gabby, a clingy bartender who wishes she could be Bobbie’s sister, according to Deadline.

This article contains spoilers for Young Sheldon season 7 episode 4.
When Young Sheldon was first announced, fans of The Big Bang Theory were excited to see the spinoff answer some big questions that the original series raised. One of the biggest mysteries was introduced in Tbbt season 10 when Sheldon (Jim Parsons) shares a story with Penny (Kaley Cuoco) that he’s never told anyone before. He says that when he was 13 years old, he saw his father (Lance Barber) having “relations” with another woman and this is why he knocks three times before opening the door.
Sheldon and his father never spoke of the moment but Sheldon did reveal a few details, including the fact that he was on spring break from college, his mother was at Bible study, and his father locked eyes with him.

It’s almost time for a second emotional goodbye to one of comedy’s best characters: Sheldon Cooper.
Fans fell in love with the character of Sheldon on The Big Bang Theory, which ran for 12 years and starred Jim Parsons. In the spinoff prequel Young Sheldon, Parsons passed down the torch to Iain Armitage. However, Parsons still narrates the series as adult Sheldon and executive produces.
Young Sheldon allows audiences to travel back to Sheldon’s childhood in East Texas, truly giving us the opportunity to meet his family in a way that we hadn’t with their appearances on The Big Bang Theory. Sheldon wouldn’t be who he is without Mary (Zoe Perry), George Sr. (Lance Barber), Missy (Raegan Revord), Georgie (Montana Jordan), and his Meemaw (Annie Potts).

According to Deadline, McEntire is working with Kevin Abbott, Michael Hanel, and Mindy Schultheis, all executive producers on the early 2000s sitcom Reba, for a new pilot for NBC in collaboration with Universal Television. Julie Abbott is also on board as an executive producer. Reba McEntire is returning to the sitcom world — and reuniting with the team behind her last two comedies as well. NBC has given a pilot order to an untitled multi-camera comedy starring McEntire, who will also executive produce.
The show, from Universal Studio Group’s Universal TV division, stars McEntire as a woman who “inherits her father’s restaurant and is less than thrilled to discover that she has a new business partner in the half-sister she never knew she had.” Kevin Abbott is the writer and exec producer, while Michael Hanel, Mindy Schultheis and Julie Abbott are non-writing exec producers.
It’s a reunion for most of the group, who previously worked together on McEntire’s signature series for The WB, “Reba,” as well as her follow-up sitcom for ABC, “Malibu Country.” Hanel and Schultheis were exec producers for the entire run of “Reba,” while Abbott joined after the...

The beloved Hallmark movie is getting a sequel in the form of Haul out The Holly: Lit Up, and the first look will be gifted to viewers this weekend.
Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls), Wes Brown (Sweet Pecan Summer), Stephen Tobolowsky (The Goldbergs), Melissa Peterman (Young Sheldon), and Ellen Travolta (Charles in Charge) are all reprising their roles from the 2022 movie.
They will be joined by Seth Morris (History of the World: Part II) and Jennifer Aspen (Party of Five).
Production wrapped earlier this year, and the flick is set to premiere on HallmarkChannel, during the network's highly successful Countdown to Christmas programming event.
Haul out the Holly was the #1 most-watched cable movie of 2022 among Women 25-54.

Within the first half-hour of the Lifetime limited series V.C. Andrews’ Dawn — premiering Saturday, July 8 at 8/7c — we learn that the titular teen’s parents kidnapped her as a baby, she’s a member of the ruthless and wealthy Cutler family, her high school crush is really her biological brother, and the boy raised as her sibling is her new love interest.
It’s the kind of twisted drama one would expect from the author who also gave us Flowers in the Attic, another salacious tale about an affluent household that won’t let familial relations get in the way of love.
