It will be worth it. That’s what the first two seasons of Good Omens have taught us as we await the third to return. The Prime Video series, based on the book of the same name by Neil Gaiman and Sir Terry Pratchett and now expanding on that story, began by following the angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and the demon Crowley (David Tennant) over the leading up to their attempt to stop Armageddon after the birth of the antichrist. The second season moved beyond the book and saw Aziraphale and Crowley hiding the amnesiac archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) from both Heaven and Hell before it ended in heartbreak. We know it will be some time before we find out what happens next, so below, we’re gathering everything we know about the future of Good Omens, including teases we got from Gaiman. Where Did Good Omens Season 2 Leave Crowley & Aziraphale?...

Banijay has acquired the format rights to “Alumni Lovers,” the school reunion dating show from Mbc that first launched in South Korea last December.
In a deal to be formerly announced by its global head of acquisitions Helen Greatorex at an MIPTV panel later on Monday, the French TV giant will launch the format in Netherlands via its SimpelZodiak label and France through Endemol France.
“‘Alumni Lovers’ is a beautifully romantic series, with a distinctive take on the dating genre,” said Greatorex. “Fresh off the back of a successful launch in Korea, we anticipate interest building across the Netherlands and France given this title’s unique approach to the concept of ‘finding love’. With emotionally-fuelled entertainment at its heart, this show is a brilliant and complementary addition to our burgeoning portfolio of dating formats.”

Andrew Scott and Olivia Colman have been among the most popular and sought-after actors in recent years. Although he became popular thanks to his role in Fleabag, Scott’s breakout performance was BBC’s Sherlock, in which he portrayed an amazing version of Moriarty. Since then, he has starred in the amazing drama All of Us Strangers and is currently set to star as Tom Ripley in Netflix’s series.
Olivia Colman, on the other hand, is a well-known British comedian whose breakout performance was in the crime drama Broadchurch, where she starred alongside David Tennant. Since then, she has landed roles in The Night Manager, as well as her Oscar-winning performance in Yorgos Lanthimos’ The Favourite, among others. The two of them recently had a talk for Interview magazine, as Colman interviewed Scott, and one of the topics that was discussed were self-taped auditions.

He’s got a point. Doctor Who hasn’t lacked for anniversary celebrations of late. The 60th in November 2023 came in alarmingly hot pursuit of the 50th in November 2013. (Apparently there was an entire decade between them but where’s the proof? It felt like… five minutes.)
And just before the diamond celebration, there was a whole 100-years-of-the-BBC hoopla complete with a multi-Doctor(ish) story and special episodes of Blue Peter and The Repair Shop.
Really, for anybody who’s keeping track, there must be a Doctor Who anniversary to celebrate on any given day of the year. To mark it all would be madness, and so showrunner Russell T Davies makes perfect sense when he says that 2025 won’t have a special to mark two decades since the show’s 2005 revival.
Writing in March 2024 in Doctor Who Magazine 602, Davies explained:

Andrew Scott has been awarded Best Actor at the 33rd Critics’ Circle Theatre Awards. The win makes the Irish actor the first performer to be handed top honors from both of the UK’s national critics bodies.
Scott won the Theatre Awards award for his performance in Vanya, a one-man Chekov adaptation during which Scott plays eight different characters in conversation with each other. From 1963 to now, the franchise has only grown bigger and turned better with each successive actor playing the time-traveling extraterrestrial. Till now there have been 14 actors who have portrayed the eccentric character.
Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor Who was not liked by fans (still from Doctor Who)

Goodbye, upside-down dustbins with toilet plungers glued on the front, hello, CGI dinosaurs! Okay, so "Doctor Who" has had CGI dinosaurs before (plus some fun old-school puppet dinos in the Jon Pertwee-era adventure "Invasion of the Dinosaurs"), but it's clear from this new trailer for the upcoming season of "Doctor Who" that returning showrunner Russell T. Davies is playing with a much bigger budget than he had during his original "Doctor Who" revival.
That's thanks to a co-production deal that makes Disney+ the new home of the long-running sci-fi series. The Disney deal means that "Doctor Who" now has vastly bigger budgets to play with, though the trade-off is that Disney gets a vote in the show's creative decisions.
Leading us into the Disney NuWho era is a new Doctor played by Ncuti Gatwa, whose maxed-out charisma stats made him the breakout star of Netflix's "Sex Education." Somewhat confusingly,...

Audiences love a bit of history. Kings, Queens, dates, battles, all of that stuff. And a big part of the fun in watching a historical drama is knowing that you are watching a version of events that have actually happened. Yes, there might not be any material evidence that J. Robert Oppenheimer’s wife was imagining him having sex with his mistress during his private security hearing, but enough of the other details are right that we don’t know for certain she didn’t.
We like learning about the small personal dramas behind the big events, and seeing how people lived and loved and worked in an age before laptops and phones. Audiences want to connect with something real. And if those historical dramas don’t get all of the details exactly right, then that’s fine too! Some people get annoyed at Neil DeGrasse Tyson-style pedantry, but...

We’re back in December 2020, and Paramount announces a new dinosaur-themed animated series titled Ark: The Animated Series. The series was announced via a trailer during the 2020 Video Game Awards, also revealing that the series would be featuring a star-filled cast that would include Gerard Butler, David Tennant, Michelle Yeoh, Jeffrey Wright, Zahn McClarnon, Elliot Page, Karl Urban, Malcolm McDowell, Alan Tudyk, Russell Crowe, and Vin Diesel, all of whom will also serve as the executive producers of the series.
The series was based on the Ark: Survival Evolved video game, with the game’s creators Jeremy Stieglitz and Jesse Rapczak serving as the creators of the series as well. In June 2022, as the series entered post-production, it was revealed that both Monica Bellucci and Dee Bradley Baker had joined the series as well, with Gareth Coker as the composer. And that was more or less it for a while.

When Russell T Davies reacted with glee to the official announcement that ex-showrunner Steven Moffat has written an episode for the new series of Doctor Who, he did it with a show of solidarity to Moffat’s successor in the role.
After lavishing Moffat and his series 14 episode director Julie-Anne Robinson with praise on Instagram, Davies made a point of writing: “Steven was the second phonecall I made, after getting the old job back. The first was Chris Chibnall, but he sent love and kisses and Ran! Off to write his new novel!”
The message’s subtext seems clear, as it has been in every public statement Davies has made about the Chibnall era. He’ll have no truck with fans unduly criticising the previous showrunner, the post-2005 trio are mates, and they’re all magnificent, thank you very much. Additionally: when it comes out, buy Chris Chibnall’s new novel.

“The Crown” could well bow out in style on home soil, with the final outing of the show leading the list of nominees for the 2024 BAFTA TV and TV Craft awards, announced Wednesday.
Netflix’s hit royal drama — which came to an end last year after six seasons — landed eight nominations in total, including for Dominic West, Elizabeth Debecki, Lesley Manville and Salim Daw in the performance categories. However, it missed out for drama series (an award it has been nominated for three times previously).
Just behind “The Crown” and also a Netflix production, the apocalyptic “Black Mirror” episode “Demon 79” earned seven nominations, including limited drama and leading actress for Anjana Vasan.
Further down in a tight group of frontrunners, BBC dramas “Happy Valley” and “The Sixth Commandment and Apple TV+’s “Slow Horses” each have six nominations. Sarah Lancashire’s leading actress nomination for “Happy Valley” could see...

When the UK fell for The Traitors, it fell hard. Sneaking into the schedules just before Christmas 2022, series one was a word-of-mouth hit, and January 2024’s follow-up was a thumping ratings monster. Remade from a Dutch format, for anybody not familiar The Traitors involves a bunch of contestants completing prize-fund growing challenges in a castle while trying to ferret out the secret traitors among them. Claudia Winkleman wears tweed and fingerless gloves. It’s a whole big thing.
Attempts to replicate The Traitors’ success are everywhere. Last summer, Channel 4 hoped for viewers to get hooked on class privilege-based reality game Rise and Fall while the BBC brought back tropical island-based popularity contest Survivor. Neither budged the dial.
Now, ITV is taking its shot. Genius Game is licensed from the South Korean original (there’s also a Dutch remake) and involves contestants solving challenges while securing and betraying each other...

Azula is arguably one of the most psychologically interesting characters in Avatar: The Last Airbender. Posing as one of the key antagonists in the series, her descent into madness was a spectacle that was almost difficult to watch. There are many reasons why a character as masterful, calculating, and smart as her, turned into an erratic and reckless leader who led to her own downfall.
Azula in Avatar: The Last Airbender
Her entire life was a constant power struggle, trying to prove to her father and herself that she was worthy of the empire of Fire Lord Ozai. On top of this, there are layers of insecurity and constant use of fear as a form of gaining loyalty, which made her the way that she was. However, many could argue that it all can be traced down to one moment; the betrayal of Mai and Ty Lee.

“No job. No boss. Just fun.” That was the offer the Fifteenth Doctor made to Ruby Sunday in the Doctor Who series 14 trailer. ‘And’, he should probably have added, ‘quite a lot of mortal peril,’ – but when has the Doctor ever been upfront with companions about the not-insignificant dangers of travelling in time and space? He probably doesn’t even fill in a risk assessment.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is famous for its superhero stories, but it has struggled with creating compelling villains for over a decade. Despite this, it has introduced various villains who earned the audience hate for their evil or controversial plans.
The MCU, the biggest connected universe in the superhero genre, includes TV shows linked to movies and introduces a range of characters—heroes, allies, and villains, whether human, alien, or mutant. While the MCU excels in creating compelling heroes, its villains haven’t received the same praise.
The first MCU villain was Obadiah Stane in Iron Man, and although he wasn’t the most memorable, he set a formula that the MCU hasn’t overcome, leading to its “villain problem.”
Despite some villains having less impactful stories, they garnered viewer hate for their evil actions and impact on the heroes in the universe. Here are 10 of the most disliked...

Doctor Who is one of the most popular sci-fi television shows ever. It centers around The Doctor who travels through time and space. He’s a friend to the helpless, a beacon of hope in the face of the unknown. But beneath the eccentric exterior and witty banter lies a truth rarely acknowledged.
A still from Doctor Who
The Doctor, the beloved protagonist of “Doctor Who”, might just be one of the most prolific killers on television. He is not an average serial killer lurking in the shadows, but a Time Lord, a being with godlike powers and a near-unending lifespan. There have been many incarnations of The Doctor and almost every incarnation has been a reason for many deaths. But the victim count for one particular incarnation is extremely disturbing, to say the least!

“I don’t know, and if I did… I might not be allowed to tell you,” he admitted. “I truly don’t know, Marvel are correctly protective of their information.”
So while Hiddleston neither confirmed nor denied his involvement, his cryptic response keeps the door open.

Scottish star David Tennant has an impressive repertoire of acting projects that puts him among some of the most versatile actors of his generation. Prominently known for his character in the popular BBC sci-fi series Doctor Who, Tennant’s manic turn as Barty Crouch Jr. in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was also a massive fan favorite.

Neil Gaiman, the creator of Good Omens, once detailed on Tumblr that his entry through the pearly gates into Heaven may depend on one thing: the fact that he was the first to put David Tennant and Michael Sheen together.
You may wonder what could’ve prompted the renowned author to reach such a conclusion. Interestingly enough, the on-screen pair’s shared presentation at the BAFTA TV Awards 2020, when they announced the winner of the Best Mini-Series, was what caused it.
The bit, though brief, reflected the two stars’ shared chemistry. While their affiliation has left an indelible mark on the pop-culture tapestry, it is relatively new, dating back to 2019 with Neil Gaiman’s Good Omens Season 1.

Following that came their pandemic sitcom, Staged—the series that became the backbone of the award-show segment that induced Gaiman’s response.

Fans are on cloud nine as the Fantastic Four will finally appear in the MCU. It comes after multiple failed tries to bring them to the big screen. Eventually, the film is scheduled to be released as part of Phase Six of the MCU.
Fantastic Four in Marvel Comics
The first movie of the Fantastic Four was made in 1994 but never came out. They finally hit the big screen in 2005. Then, in 2015, a reboot directed by Josh Trank was released, which didn’t do well with critics or at the box office. Now, they’re getting another shot in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 6 lineup.
Even before the Marvel announced the main cast for the Fantastic Four, Antonio Banderas was already among the actors in the lineup for the role of Glactus. But now, an Oscar-winning actor is said to be the frontrunner for the role.
