David Noel Bourke is an award-winning Denmark-based, Irish-born independent filmmaker.
An efficient writer, director and editor who made three independent feature films that have been launched around the world via film festivals and releases. The latest feature "Bakerman" had a successful film festival tour and won several awards. Including winning "Best Lead Actor" award for Mikkel Vadsholt at the Nordic International Film Festival (New York, USA) and winning the "Best Foreign Feature" award at the Maryland International Film Festival (USA). It also got nominations for Méliès d'Argent award at the Lund International Fantastic Film Festival (Sweden) for best feature and "Best supporting actress" for Siir Tilif at the Nordic International Film Festival (New York, USA)
Two new film projects are in the pipeline, an Irish comedy feature in the style of Roddy Doyle and brand new science fiction project.
Films are typically atmospheric puzzle pieces, moody with much dark humour.
