He has 3 cats. Marvin a ginger Tom cat, and two girls, Leia and Aurora who are both black and white. Leia is named after Princess Leia from the Starwars films, while Aurora is named after the Disney princess.

Has a younger sister, Carrie Hope Fletcher.

Released first album with band McFly on 5th July 2004 called 'Room on the 3rd Floor'. McFly named their album 'Room on the 3rd Floor' because they spent most of their time writing songs in a hotel room which was located on the third floor.

He is a Star Wars fan. He performed on the choir for the recording of new music track Victory Celebration by John Williams for Return of the Jedi Special Edition. He also auditioned for the part of young Anakin Skywalker at theatre school for Phantom Menace but did not get the part.

Father to three sons; Buzz Michelangelo Fletcher (born 13th March 2014), Buddy Bob Fletcher (born 16th February 2016) and Max Mario Fletcher (born 24th August 2018).

He is the son of Deborah A. (Richardson) and Robert M. Fletcher.
