- Commissioned in 2008 to write and direct a remake of 1979 horror classic 'The Driller Killer' starring 'Last House on the Left' cult actor David Hess in the lead role. The film re-located Abel Ferrara's original story about a psychotic artist from New York to London. However, the project never got into production after a financial dispute between the Executive Producers could not be resolved.
- Wrote a script for a sequel to 1980 cult classic 'The House on the Edge of the Park' with director Ruggero Deodato and actor Giovanni Lombardo Radice in 2010. He later dropped out of the project after the death of David Hess who was set to reprise his role in the sequel.
- His 12th feature film 'The Curse of Robert the Doll' reached #25 in the UK National DVD Charts and #1 in the HMV New Releases Chart.
- His 13th feature film 'The Toymaker' finished its first week of release as the 3rd highest placed Direct-to-Video independent film in the Official UK DVD Chart. It also opened at #3 in the HMV New Releases DVD Chart in the UK.

- Spoke with convicted murderer and former Manson Family member Bobby Beausoleil as part of his research for the script of 'Manson'. Beausoleil was convicted in 1970 of the murder of Gary Hinman, the murder that set in motion the events leading to the infamous "Helter Skelter" killings.
- In Germany, some of his films have been re-titled and released as unofficial sequels to cult films. 'The Amityville Asylum' was released as 'The Nesting 2: Amityville Asylum', a sequel to the 1981 film 'The Nesting'. 'Haunting at the Rectory' was released as 'American Poltergeist 5: The Borley Haunting'. After the success of the original 'American Poltergeist' film in 2015, German distributors added the title to a collection of unrelated horror films so they could be released in that territory as one single series. Also in Germany, the film 'Robert' was re-named 'Robert - Die Puppe des Teufels' (Robert - The Doll of the Devil) and the film 'Theatre of Fear' was included in an 8 film Box Set entitled 'Die Grobe Horror (The Great Horror) - Clowns Deluxe Mega Box'.
- Spent time living with homeless people and heroin addicts in his hometown of Swansea researching his second feature 'The Feral Generation'. Many of the stories relayed to him during that period later appeared in the screenplay for the film.
- His 9th commercially released feature film 'Robert' opened at #30 in the National UK DVD and Blu Ray Chart in August 2015, the only independent film to appear in the Top 40 that week.
- According to the BFI Research and Statistics booklet published in June 2016, Jones' company North Bank Entertainment ranked #4 on the list of production companies involved in the greatest number of commercially released UK feature films between 2013 and 2015. Three companies - Working Title Films, Vertigo Films and Pinewood Pictures - topped the list with a total of 9 films each for the period. North Bank Entertainment produced 8 films and had the lowest combined budget of every company on the list.

- His 19th feature film 'Alcatraz' (2018) opened at #28 in the national UK DVD chart, making it the 3rd highest selling Direct-to-DVD release of the week.
- He also edited the commercially released trailers for his films 'Robert' (2015), 'The Exorcism of Anna Ecklund' (2015), 'The Curse of Robert the Doll' (2016), the international version of 'The Toymaker' (2017) and 'Jurassic Predator' (2018).
- His 20th commercially released feature film 'D-Day Assassins' opened in the UK as the 4th best selling Direct-to-Video release of the week, the 10th film produced by him which reached the UK Top 5 of DTV best sellers.
- His 21st commercially released feature film 'Bundy and the Green River Killer' opened at #29 in the national UK DVD Chart, making it the 3rd highest selling DTV title released that week. It also reached #1 on the HMV Premiere DVD Chart.
- In June 2019, he was voted #29 on Britflix Power 100's annual list of the 100 most powerful and influential Film and TV figures in the UK.
- In the UK, his 22nd commercially released feature film 'Robert Reborn' reached #1 on the HMV DVD Premiere Chart, the 4th film of his to do so.
- His 23rd commercially released feature film 'The Manson Family Massacre' opened in the UK as the top selling Direct-to-Video title in the national DVD chart on it's first week of release.
- His 28th commercially released feature film 'The Haunting of Margam Castle' opened at No.16 in the Official DVD Chart, the highest UK chart placement for any of the titles produced by North Bank Entertainment. The film was also nominated for Best Paranormal Movie at the 2020 Paranormal Entertainment Awards. In it's 4th month of UK release, the film re-entered the Top 40 of the Official UK DVD Chart and became the 3rd highest selling DTV title of the week. A week later the DVD moved up 9 places in the chart to No.30 and remained in the Top 5 of best selling DTV titles of the week,.
- His 27th commercially released feature film 'A Killer Next Door' entered the Official UK DVD charts at #19, the second highest opening for a North Bank Entertainment title.
