Annette Marie Westwood
- Actress
- Writer
- Producer
Annette was born in Yonkers, New York to a New York City firefighter and a
librarian. Growing up in Hastings on Hudson, NY, she knew she was going
to become an actress at the age of three. Annette remembers seeing the
hour glass for Day of our Lives on the small screen thinking that was
what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. She first stepped on a
stage two years later, when she started taking dancing classes at the
Margaret Pike School of Dance, Yonkers.Annette trained in ballet, tap
and jazz for many years. She got her first starring role in a middle
school production of Annie. Her mom would often take Annette and her
older sister, Elizabeth, to Broadway shows matinees and although she
caught the acting bug then, Annette only managed to take part in one
more theater production in High School. By the age of 14, she had
gotten a job with an orthodontist practice and was working after school
every day. While studying for "her back up plan", dental hygienist,
Annette kept working on her acting skills. She took her love of dance
into the fitness industry and passed her American Council on Exercise
Fitness Instructor certification at NYU. Annette got married in 1997
and dedicated herself to motherhood for the next several years, living
in New York, Illinois, Maryland and Florida. Moving to California after
her divorce, Annette landed her first commercial in 2006, for the San
Luis Obispo chamber of Commerce and appeared on two billboards for Paso
Robles Wine Country. Her childhood dream came true when she was cast in
one of her favorite soap operas as "the groom's sister" in General
Hospital: Night Shift in 2008. Annette has been Recurring as a make up
artist in The Bold and the Beautiful since 2009.
