*here be spoilers.
Creator: Frank Darabont.
Director: Billy Gierhart.
Writers: Frank Darabont and Robert Kirkman.
Episode 9, "Triggerfinger," started with a bang and this showing maintained the momentum almost all the way through. The return of Season 2 after a mid-series break is proving that "The Walking Dead" knows how to improve. This reviewer continues to return to find out what happens next. Many subplots and some drama mixed in with the action kept "Triggerfinger" in an exciting place. Hopefully, the rest of the series maintains this level of intensity.
In case you missed the episode, Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Herschel (Scott Wilson) and Glenn (Steven Yeun) are still back in town dealing with issues. Alcohol seems to be helping the characters cope with the undead apocalypse, but is it helping their aim? Then, more survivors turn up in town searching for Tony (Aaron Munoz) and Dave (Michael Raymond-James), who are now dead by Rick's hand.

The Walking Dead stormed back with an emotionally-charged episode full of tension and emotion. They’re still dealing with the aftermath of the barn massacre and last night proved that bad things happened to those who left the farm. Carol (Melissa McBride) dealt with Sophia’s death in her own way. Scott Wilson had his finest turn as Hershel trying to efface himself with alcohol and Andrew Lincoln was superb as Rick asserted himself as someone not to be messed with. The most surprising moment of “Nebraska” was that we were introduced to new survivors and just as we thought we’d be adding more people at the farm, Rick blasted them away.
After seeing the zombie that used to be his wife shot, then getting a scythe to the skull, Hershel turned to the top shelf liquor in town, something he hasn’t done since Maggie (Lauren Cohan) was born.

Aaron Munoz and Michael Raymond-James guest starred on last night’s episode of The Walking Dead. For those that haven’t seen the episode yet, I don’t want to get into spoilers, but the scene they were involved in was one of my favorite scenes of the season.
I had a chance to talk with Aaron who plays Tony on the show, and asked about the audition process, his interest in horror, and working with Andrew Lincoln:
***Spoiler Warning for those that have not seen episode 8***
Thank you for taking the time to talk with Daily Dead. Can you tell our readers a bit more about yourself and your acting career?
Aaron Munoz: I started out doing a lot of Improv Comedy, wanting to be the next Chris Farley. While I was at Columbia College Chicago and taking classes at Second City I started to really like acting in plays.

With the return of The Walking Dead Season 2, AMC continues their Q&A feature by talking with Andrew Lincoln. Topics covered include the bar scene in Nebraska, filming a scene with Sophia, and Dr. Jenner’s secret. Keep an eye out later today for our exclusive Q&A with Aaron Munoz, who guest starred in last night’s episode.
**Spoiler Warning** “ Q: What was the bar scene like in Episode 8?
A: That was an incredible scene! We were so lucky to get such cracking actors. And we didn’t play the problem, we just played the fact that this is a reunion of human beings. The tension is inherent in the fact that they encounter this other group.
Q: Rick’s presence at the farm has been described as antagonistic this season. Do you ever feel like you’re a bad guy on your own show?
A: Yeah, I think I do a bit.

The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman has hinted that things will "keep getting worse" for the show's characters. In last night's (February 12) midseason premiere 'Nebraska', Rick (Andrew Lincoln) was forced to shoot threatening newcomers Dave (Michael Raymond James) and Tony (Aaron Munoz). "I think this was a particularly good episode coming back because the two guys in the bar represent new threats," Kirkman told Entertainment Weekly. "And they are really just the tip of the iceberg." He added: "It's really good to come back and be off of the farm and see that there are more dangerous things out there than the zombies. Things just keep getting worse from here." Last month, Walking Dead showrunner Glen Mazzara claimed that the latter half of the show's second season (more)...

Scroll down for an exclusive clip of one of the midseason premiere's most talked about scenes.
In a world overrun by zombies it turns out there are other, more dangerous things lurking in the most unexpected of places -- f'rinstance living, breathing humans just a few short miles away from a farm that you thought might just be your safe haven, the place where you could ride out the zombie storm and maybe start again.
As we saw on Sunday's (Feb. 12) midseason premiere of "The Walking Dead," there's no such thing as a safe haven. Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) already knew that -- what with a pregnant wife, a son to protect, a group of survivors that look to him for leadership and a best friend who totally wants his wife and thinks he may be the father of that baby.

A few days ago we got some preliminary details about the two "mystery men" who were revealed at the end of a promo for the upcoming Episode 2.08, "Nebraska", of "The Walking Dead"; and now things have been fleshed out a bit. In addition, if you don't mind mild spoilers, we have brief synopses of the balance of the Season 2 installments.
According to Spoiler TV:
Michael Raymond-James' character of Dave is a charming and friendly guy from a city in the Northeast who has spent a significant amount of time in low-rent bars. He’s able to disarm with a smile but can quickly turn dangerous. He is the seemingly nice guy who is ruthless and cunning. Fans should recognize Raymond-James from "Terriers" and/or "True Blood".
Aaron Munoz's Tony is quick tempered and does not present himself as intelligent as Dave. He likes women, food, and guns.

This is excellent news. Michael Raymond-James, creepy-baby’s dead dad Rene on True Blood, beloved reformed criminal Britt on filmed-in-my-hometown gone-too-soon Terriers, and newly-minted personal friend of mine – hey, he replied to a tweet of mine over the weekend, that counts – will be appearing in the second half of season two of The Walking Dead.
ShockTilYouDrop reports that he is one of the two men seen at the end of this clip that we showed you last week, from the upcoming opening episode of season 2.5; he’ll be the one on the right. They also report that The Walking Dead comic creator Robert Kirkman has teased “these two could pose a threat to Rick and his crew.” We would agree, based on the clip:
The man on the left at the end of the clip is reported to be Aaron Munoz (Cadillac Records), and in fact his appearance in the...

Atlanta – Atlanta's Theatrical Outfit is taking advantage of an opportunity to stage "A Confederacy of Dunces" with a new adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel that opens Saturday. The Louisiana State University Press, which owns the rights, rarely permits more than staged readings of adaptations of John Kennedy Toole's comic novel, published in 1980, about life in New Orleans in the early 1960s.Lsu Press won't say why only a handful of productions have been permitted. Two years ago, the Outfit's artistic director, Tom Key, was offered a chance to adapt the book for a full production. Book-It Repertory Theatre in Seattle, which also accepted the opportunity, staged its version last fall. The novel focuses on Ignatius J. Reilly, a medievalist who holds a master's degree but makes no effort to put it to use. At 30, he spends most of his time going to movies or in his room in his widowed mother's home.
