Born and reared in New York City, John Brooks, Jr. spent his early
childhood surrounded by individuals who were heavily involved in the
entertainment industry. Frequent visits to New York's Theatre District
piqued his interest in acting...but he was most captivated by the
amazing performances he saw on the "big screen".
Though a series of twists and turns in life led Brooks to enlist and
proudly serve in the U.S. Air Force, he never lost his interest in
becoming an actor. After leaving the military, he was approached by
Daniel B. Iske with the opportunity to take part in a riveting
television series called "The Dead Hour". This rekindled his desire to
pursue an acting career. Soon after, Brooks relocated to Los Angeles,
where he continues to work at mastering his craft.
