Darren D. Dickerson is founder and CEO of DSD Publicity Consulting, and its digital extension, Image Geyser. Currently, Dickerson also serves as Head of Publicity & Marketing for MegaMind Media, a black-owned, full service, production company.

Specializing in talent representation, and television/film PR, Dickerson's current roster of clients includes MegaMind Media, Black Girls Rock!, eBay, actress Vanessa Bell Calloway (This Is Us), and director Benny Boom (All American). DSD's client history includes notables like: STARZ and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, TD Jakes and TDJ Enterprises, Cedric The Entertainer and his Celebrity Golf Classic, Naitia "Lil Mama" Kirkland (CrazySexyool), BET (Music Moguls), TV One (R&B Divas/Two Sides), TV Land (The Soul Man), and Kevin Frazier (Entertainment Tonight).

A 30 year entertainment industry veteran, with a background in media relations and event marketing, Dickerson first gained national prominence in 1999 while representing AIDS activist Hydeia Broadbent. He developed and managed media events with the Elizabeth Glazier Foundation, Kaiser Family Foundation, Magic Johnson Foundation, National Institute of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). He successfully placed Broadbent on the cover of TV Guide and Essence Magazine's commemorative edition The 40 Most Inspiring African American. He also secured feature stories on Oprah, Dateline, Good Morning America, and 20/20; negotiated guest appearances on MTV, BET, VH1 and Nickelodeon programming.

For a time, Dickerson served as Director of New Business Development for Tobin & Associates, the venerable public relations agency founded by industry icon Patricia "Pat" Tobin. Representing clients that included Chandra Wilson (Grey's Anatomy), James Pickens (Grey's Anatomy), Christen Clemenson (CSI), Toyota Motor Sales, Nestle, Sony Pictures Television, Hallmark Channel, Fitzgerald's Casino, and the National Newspaper Publisher's Association, Dickerson covered every aspect of public relations while working at Tobin.

Before Tobin & Associates, Dickerson managed media relations and produced events for Universal Pictures, Gramercy Pictures, Ruthless Records, Death Row Records, FOX Sports West and The Magic Johnson Foundation. He was part of the creative team that produced a weekly supper club event series that featured marquee recording artists like Stevie Wonder, Rick James, Nelly, Alicia Keys, Angie Stone, Brian McNight, Tevin Campbell, Tommy Davidson, Ken Jeong (Masked Singer), Mike Epps (Hangover) Lil JJ (Just Jordan), Earthquake, and Michael Collier.
