Every time he's on set John will have a tin of either Altoids or Ice Breakers. This is for a quick dose of energy during long scenes when he can't get to the craft table. (His favorite is Altoids Wintergreen).
The first big-budget feature film that John worked on was "Boulevard" which , sadly, marked Robin William's final on-screen performance.
John was offered a leading role for his first theatrical production. For the 1964 Park Layne Elementary production of Humpty Dumpty.
John is the father of Damien Hedgecoth. Director and Magna Cum Laude graduate of the LA Film School.
John once served as East Tennessee Commissioner of Indian Affairs for The Tennessee Commission on Indian Affairs. He also served on that state's Title VI of the Civil Rights Act Compliance Commission.
