Born in Vancouver, B.C. to an Austrian father and a French-Canadian mother. According to her mother Emily was always "a little different" which came to a head at age 15 when she dropped out of high school. Searching for purpose, when Emily found expression through creative arts a spark was lit. She completed her GED, packed a bag and followed her dreams to London, England where she attended independent studio The Actors Temple. Emily found her voice and it overflowed. She returned to Vancouver, got scouted by an agent, joined a punk rock band and while enrolled at art school Emily booked the role of oddball Noreen Vanderslice in critically acclaimed mini-series 'Fargo'. She has since started training at The Upright Citizens Brigade.
