Helena has been the Co Founder/ Creative Director of HMK Film Productions for. Originally from Melbourne, Australia she followed her instincts to pursue her dreams in film making at the heart center of the industry, Hollywood, Los Angeles. Under her belt, she possess breadth and depth in multiple creative areas including; Producing, screen- writing, directing,post production. A multiple award-winning indie-film maker with her most recent achievements being semi- finalist at the "Los Angeles CineFest" and audience nominee "Moving Pictures Festival" in 2016. Winner for best short horror film, HotAtlanta. Cannes Short Film, Kansas 18th Anniversary Festival She has won various awards which include; Cannes Short Film ,Fake Flesh Film Fest, Kansas 18th Anniversary Festival,Big Terror Horror Film Festival, Flesh Film Fest, Cheyenne Zombiefest Horror Film Fest, 15 Second Short Horror Festival, Semi Finalist - CineFest, Dark Scream Festival - Winner, Salty Horror Film Festival - Best Short film, Best Short Competition - Award of Excellence - Women Filmmaker, Best Short Competition - Award Of Excellence - Experimental, International Movie Award - Gold Awards - Experimental, IndieFest Film Awards - Award Of Merit - Experimental, World Film Awards - Award of Merit - Best International Award. Her most prized film-making genre is psychological thrillers and horror that are deeply researched, analyzed and critiqued to portray a sense of realism mixed with pure psycho- emotional responses and reactions. Helena also has the skills and network that has seen her branch out in to music-video and commercial industries having successfully executive produced, written, directed, set- designed for artists like J-Wess. Recently, Directed Music Video, for upcoming female Artists WolfTyla " Going Diddy". With an ever growing desire to make her mark in the industry, Helena's passion for film and writing see no end, and continues to impress and improve her skills whilst being forever a student of film and the arts.
