Alyce draws on experience in a multitude of fields including a BA in architecture, classical music training, ballet, and graphic design to spearhead projects with an eye toward elevating female and minority representation.
After graduating from Princeton, Alyce moved across the country to pursue 3D animation at the Academy of Art, where her short film SOAR won Gold at the Student Academy Awards. She went on to be named one of Variety's Top 10 Animators To Watch, while her first professional project, Oculus Story Studio's "Henry," became the first virtual reality film to win an Emmy.
After moving to Los Angeles, she sold an original series to Disney TV Animation, which she is attached to Executive Produce. She is directing the animated musical feature film "Steps" at Netflix Animation Studio, which tells the story of Cinderella's step sisters as a pair of flawed young Asian women who learn to value connection over competition.
