- Sylvain Pélissier is a French director and screenwriter born in France on May 29, 1979. Born to a Sicilian mother and a French father, Sylvain Pélissier was passionate about screenplays and cinema from an early age. He is influenced by genre cinema, from fantasy to science fiction, including horror and thrillers, a vast complex which will become his favorite field. After a 5-year voluntary commitment in the army, he prepared his retraining in the civilian world and discovered, thanks to a friend, his first video editing software, he was won over. Self-taught, he began to learn the basic techniques for editing his first amateur films. In 2009, he trained at Ateliers Image et Fils in Marseille and obtained his audiovisual professional training certificate.
