Kevin Dary is a French actor, voice actor, producer and writer based in Los Angeles. Son of French politician Michel Dary, he was attracted to the arts first in the form of dancing, self-taught through the use of videotapes of performers like James Brown and Michael Jackson. He then found his passion for acting through impressions thanks to the French TV Show "Les Guignols de l'Info" , and developed a unique love for voice acting though the French dubs of Japanese animes and Hollywood blockbusters from the late 80s and 90s.
While studying for a Bachelor in English language, Kevin also learned Japanese. A fan of the culture, he moved to Tokyo, Japan in 2011 and spent about two years in the country.
In 2014, he made his way to Los Angeles and has been working in the US film industry as an actor and voice actor. As of 2021, Dary also wrote and produced three films, in English and French, such as "Pandora's Box" and "La Chambre de Claire", and has won several awards from various international festivals and competitions. His work in voice acting is specialized in French dubbing of movies and commercial videos.
