Cynthia has worked in many roles with entertainment from _ management, promoter, entertainment producer, booking agent, audience development, event planning, publicist, fundraising etc. She is well known and often called upon as the GO TO person that has worked with in some capacity a number of actors, visual artists, comics, musicians, singers, entertainment/food critic, politicians, sports figures etc.... She takes pride in 'getting the job done!'
She has worked as a publicist / audience developer for plays at the Barnsdall, Vision Theater, Stage 52, the Pasadena Playhouse and other venues. Cynthia has provided celebrities for parades in Orange County and Los Angeles County (Black History Month and Christmas Parades). She was called upon to provide celebrities for a major boxing match in Las Vegas for Don King. She books celebrities for speaking engagements, special appearances and media interviews.

Most recently assisted with promotions for 'Beyond the Lights' (directed and written by Gina Prince-Bythewood), Gun Hill (Directed by Reggie "Rock" Bythewood), Grammy Award winning bassist -- Nathan East's solo CD "Nathan East and booked a large number of celebrities for Jayne Kennedy-Overton's 65th Birthday Party at the launch of the Pro Player's Network. The 100 Black Men of Los Angeles called on Busby Promotions for honorees and presenters that include the late great actor - Robert Guillaume, the NFL's Keyshawn Johnson and celebrity presenters; The African Vibes Magazine benefited from Busby Promotions' media relations and celebrity bookings for their 5th Anniversary.

Most recently promoted Comedienne Luenell's Birthday Bash in Hollywood; "Comics on the Catwalk in Hollywood, CA and the GBC Annual Toast and Roast honoring actors - Margaret Shug Avery(Being Mary Jane and The Color Purple) and James Pickens, Jr. (the Chief on Greys Anatomy), The City of Angels Celebrity Red Carpet Experience 2015 honoring Hip Hop Artist - Yo Yo's 25th Anniversary.
Ms Busby worked closely with "The First Lady of Motown" - Ms Claudette Robinson - publicizing her Miracles Exhibit at the legendary Grammys Museum in Los Angeles, CA and secured Ms Robinson's Day in Los Angeles. Ms Robinson was recognized by the Mayor of Los Angeles and the entire City Council and special guests and other attendees at the Los Angeles City Hall.
Ms Busby recognized the stars of the fan favorite "Five Heartbeats" with a party at the Los Angeles hotspot 'Crenshaw Live.' Attendees included - Actors: Hawthorne 'Big Red' James; David McKnight, Roy Fegan, Michael Wright aka Eddie Cane; Deborah Lacey, Ted Lange, Luenell, Jesse Mitchell, Brittany Busby, Alexander McDaniel, Reginald T. Dorsey, Lamont Kirkpatrick, Victor Orlando, Dee Perry (celebrity makeup artist). Ms Marla Gibbs has been secured by Ms Busby to receive the Mary Pickford Award presented by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce's Heroes of Hollywood; The Family Film Lifetime Achievement Award and the Luxury Gala 2020 Oscars Dinner/Awards Party Lifetime Achievement Award.
