Trang Doan Vo , was born Vo Ngoc Doan Trang, August 23, 1996 in My Tho, Vietnam. Her family immigrated to the United States when she was 2 Years Old. Trang grew up in Sacramento, California where she started performing on stage at age 5.
In 2009 , her family was stationed in Tacoma, Washington when her father joined the military. There she joined 5 years of concert choir and acting classes her senior year of high school. Trang was offered a wrestling scholarship for Simon Frasier University in Canada, but declined when she got accepted into American Musical Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles, California.
Trang began her training at AMDA L.A Fall of 2014. She graduated with her Bachelors in Fine Arts, with a focus on Acting (Film/TV/Theater) in Spring 2018. But not before booking her first Co-Star Role on NCIS: Los Angeles and a Feature role in Cosmos: Possible Worlds featuring Host Neil DeGrasse Tyson.
