Jared Leto is multitasking when it comes to paying tribute to recently deceased musical icons. Leto and his band 30 Seconds to Mars did their part to honor Chris Cornell, Prince, David Bowie, Chester Bennington and other dead musicians during a performance recorded in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge and published online Thursday. The medley kicks off with Leto singing “Purple Rain,” the signature track by Prince, who died at age 57 last year from an overdose of the opioid fentanyl, before sliding into the Bowie song “Heroes.” Also Read: Jared Leto Sued by Penthouse for a Super-Unsexy Reason Leto’s mashup also.
