But for director David Yates, the City of Lights represents so much more. Currently in the process of steering Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald toward its November 2018 release, Yates spoke to Entertainment Weekly about his magical prequel, and how it features a “glamorous” wizarding community that happily co-exists with the Muggle population. A far cry from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, then.
Speaking of regular old humans, it turns out the French word for Muggle/Nomaj is pretty simple: “Non–magique.”
