Scandal's Bellamy Young has signed with UTA, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned. She was previously with Paradigm.
When the ABC drama premiered in 2012, the actress was a recurring player whose character, Mellie Grant, was first lady of the United States. Now, in the Shonda Rhimes series' seventh and final season, Grant is the president. Young has won a Critics' Choice Television Award for the role.
She also will be seen on the big screen in Disney's A Wrinkle in Time, which is set to bow March 9. Young's previous credits include CBS' Criminal Minds and ABC's Grey's Anatomy...
