U.S. Navy Films
The United States Navy was founded as the Continental Navy in 1775, before the Declaration of Independence. It has a long history of fighting America's wars over the seas and includes varied fighting force which includes surface vessels, aircraft, and submarines. The Blue and Gold's silent service is most elusive of the U.S. Nuclear Triad and amongst the most dangerous in the world. The 'glitzy' life of aircraft carriers and high flying jets has given the Navy the status as the rock star of the armed services. Many of the brave men and women have given their lives in service of the country and the fight for freedom. On April 4, 2023, Warner Bros. Entertainment celebrated the 100th anniversary of its founding as Warner Bros. in 1923. It released its first film, Where the North Begins (1923), starring Rin Tin Tin, a few months later.
