Paste Magazine’s Best B Movies of All Time
A B movie is a low-budget commercial movie. In its original usage the term identified films intended for distribution as the less-publicized bottom half of a double feature (akin to B-sides for recorded music). The production of these second features ceased by the end of the 1950s. To this day the term B movie continues to be used in its broader sense. Nowadays they represent a particular genre. The primary interest is prurient and many B movies display a high degree of craft and aesthetic ingenuity. (Source: Wikipedia) In May 2014, Paste Magazine published a list of The 100 Best “B Movies” of All Time. This is the Top 35 (TV Movies and Videos are excluded). Which B movie is your favorite? Rest in Peace, Grandma Ida
This is melancholy time for Mel Brooks and Malcolm in the Middle (2000) fans: Oscar-winner movie and TV legend Cloris Leachman died at the age of 94. As Malcolm's Grandma Ida, she didn't exactly play the ideal grandmother, that title would go to Betty White (who actually played her rival in the series). The old hag we so loved to hate, was awfully mean, uttering politically incorrect one-liners that would be shocking if they weren't so damn hilarious and going as far as (in order of gravity) calling her daughter ugly, stabbing Francis' leg with a knitting needle, suing the whole family and having Reese as her favorite grandson. (To her credit though, she did redeem herself with her sole good action in the whole series: saving Dewey from a truck accident and losing her leg in the process.) So this is a tribute to the one TV grandmother who didn't exactly go to the Disney school of grandparenting and the only role of the series that was awarded an Emmy; now, check this list of her worst insults or one-liners and simply vote for the most hilariously mean one. After voting, you might discuss the list here And Rest in Peace, Cloris Leachman
Betty White vs. Cloris Leachman
Cloris Leachman and Betty White have many things in common and not just generation-wise: these two enduring, endearing and awesome TV "old" ladies have collected multiple Emmy nominations and awards. Both were awarded for their performances in The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970), then Betty White as one of America's The Golden Girls (1985) Rose Nylund and Cloris Leachman as the unscrupulous and embittered Ida in Malcolm in the Middle (2000) (where White actually starred in one episode as Ida's rival)... so speaking of Rose and Ida, they couldn't have been more different. White is America's sweetheart and the eternal figure of the loving granny while 'Frau Blücher' is less archetypal and extended the eccentricity of her characters even in real-life where she set a new record in Dancing with the Stars (2005). White won the hearts and Leachman the Oscar. Extending their rivalry from that episode of Malcolm in the Middle (2000), the last show that reunited them, let's ask the question:Which of these two awesome old ladies, is your favorite? After voting, you might discuss the list here

Favorite 2000s Sitcom
From Wikipedia- A situation comedy, or sitcom, is a genre of comedy centered on a fixed set of characters who carry over from episode to episode. Sitcoms can be contrasted with sketch comedy, where a troupe may use new characters in each sketch, and stand-up comedy, where a comedian tells jokes and stories to an audience. Sitcoms originated in radio, but today are found mostly on television as one of its dominant narrative forms. This form can also include mockumentaries. Which Sitcom that premiered between 2000-2009 would you call your favorite? Discuss 2000s Sitcoms Here

B-Movie Memorabilia!
B-Movie fans, this is for you. As a lover of cheesy films, MST3K, and RiffTrax myself, I know how it is. Those movies are downright awful, but you love them. You love the bad acting, poor film quality, corny dialogue, cheap effects, and nonsensical plot. A lot of people would pay anything to own memorabilia from their favorite pop culture: such as Indiana Jones' whip, Katniss Everdeen's Mocking Jay pin, or something Steamboat Willie-related. While those things are all well and good, we'd rather spend our money on more important things - iconic items from our favorite B-movies. (Plus, since no one else cares, these things are cheap, or quite possibly free!) So, if objects actually used on set of these cheesy movies went up for sale, which one would you want to display in your case? I guess you could call these items memora'B'ilia! Ha ha ha!... sorry.
