How close to an Oscar have you ever been?
"He has no genitalia and he's holding a sword" These are the words formulated by Dustin Hoffman when he was close enough to give a detailed description of the most coveted award of Cinema's history, a tad less passionate than Barbra Streisand's "Hello, gorgeous". As for the rest of us, although familiar with the look of the golden statuette, we never got close enough to check if Hoffman or Streisand's reactions were deserved. Or were we? Indeed, it is worth asking the question, how close to an Oscar have you ever been? (and we mean, physically!) Discuss the list here
IMDb Poll Board's Party of Golden Spirits
Some time ago, we asked which poll board user's party you would join as the eleventh guest. The celebrities had to be alive. This time we become a little creepy. Imagine that we could resurrect people from beyond. People that passed and left an important legacy, which kind of it ever would be. It could be acting, directing, musical achievements, roles in movies, drawing perfect pictures, achievements in medical progress, goaling in sport or more sober things like creating mathematical theories. Which poll board user's resurrection party would you most likely join? Please tell us here.
