R.I.P. Diahann Carroll
Hollywood has lost a legend today, October 4th, 2019. Beloved Tony Award winning singer and Oscar nominated actress, Diahann Carroll, passed away from complications related to cancer. Diahann, who was first diagnosed and treated back in 1997 with cancer, and was free of the disease a scant 9 weeks later, sadly had it return this year. Condolences go out to all her family and friends. Diahann's story is a long one and we will not go into it here, but we recommend that you use the link above and read her biography page. She, as we all know, was heavily involved in both movies and television in a career that spanned 7 Decades. There are many memorable moments and roles that we all love dearly. So which one of her performances in these titles was your favorite? P.S. You may want to visit her star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame at 7005 Hollywood Blvd., if you are ever in Southern California. She was honored April 3, 1990 for her Recording Career. Please leave your kind thoughts about Diahann here.

Remembering David McCallum
David McCallum, born on September 19, 1933, was an accomplished actor in both film and television. He celebrated his 90th birthday on September 19, 2023, but sadly died a few days later on September 25, 2023. To the older generation, he is perhaps best known for his portrayal of U.N.C.L.E. agent Illya Kuryakin in the hit TV series The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1964). To younger audiences, he is best known for his superlative portrayal of Dr. Donald "Duckie" Mallard on NCIS (2003).
