A two-reel number in which Cohen hires two rival firebugs to burn out his clothing business. The characterizations are fair, but the humor of the piece is not very strong. One of the firebugs starts the fire, but his competitor puts it out and when Cohen goes to collect, he finds no actual damage has been done, so he gets no insurance. The chief merit of the picture is perhaps in the fact that it exposes, in burlesque fashion, the manner in which some fires are brought about. - The Moving Picture World, August 30, 1913
