This is a very strange film. Jack is an aircraft designer who becomes involved with a Russian soprano,Mary Loseff. She had in real life been the partner of Richard Tauber,who broke off the relationship to marry Diana Napier,turning Loseff into an alcoholic.
There are 7 numbers in this film but only 2 feature Jack.
There is a big production number but the melody is unmemorable,which matches the threadbare plot. The film is different to most of Jack's other films. Perhaps he was trying to imitate MacDonald and Eddy. If so it didn't work.
Also featured are a youngish Athene Sayler and the piano duo Rawciewicz and Lauder.
