This was Kenneth MacDonald's first appearance in a Stooges short.

Curly Howard's illness was so bad during production that Moe Howard had to coach him line by line.

When Moe and Larry are locked in the steam room, Curly trips and falls in the hallway. He was supposed to yell "Moe and Larry!" and get back up to rush to the steam room. Off-screen, Moe was coaching Curly line-by-line, but Curly remembered this one and yells "I know - Moe and Larry!".

Moe calls Curly by the name of "Baby" (his family nickname and stage name before joining The Stooges), when he and Larry are taking his temperature at the clinic.
