The same plot was developed 9 years later by [Robert Bloch] in [Psycho (1960)]; by consequence, [El hombre sin rostro (1950)] anticipates [Alfred Hitchcock]s film for 10 years. Same thing happened with another [Juan Bustillo Oro]'s film, [Two Monks (1934)]: this time, [Akira Kurosawa]'s [Rashomon (1950)] use the same plot and the "different point of view" narrative technique.
