Gallico places Ormond's body at the very top of the stack of crates being used for the bonfire. In subsequent long shots, the body appears to be about halfway up. When the bonfire is lit, the body is back on top.
When Don (Price) is knocked onto the belt leading to the crematorium his position changes.
When Gallico returns to his rented room late at night, he goes to turn up the gas lamp on the wall. it lights up and the set lights come up as well, but then the gas light suddenly goes out. In the next shot it is lit again.
At the conclusion of the fight between the inspector and the mad magician, the mad magician is knocked down onto the moving table with his head back toward the furnace entrance; in the next shot he is shown going into the furnace feet first.

It is extremely unlikely that a bonfire of the sort Gallico uses to dispose of Ormond's body would actually produce enough heat to disintegrate human bone, leaving only the shin bones and a section of spine.
When the mad magician is performing on stage and about to appear the girl from the table, you can see the magician's cape reflect in the mirrors that are hiding the girl around the legs of the table.
