Everyone knows that the curse was due to be cast by sunset on Aurora's 16th birthday, so why didn't the fairies just wait an extra day? They also could have transformed Aurora into a shrubbery or something on the last day just to be extra cautious. The dusk walk back to the castle was especially conspicuous.
The opening credits say Technirama, but not Super Technirama 70, which is the process it was filmed in.
