First sequence: a group of novices are about to take their vows ;and the priest insists :poverty,chastity,humility...One of the young girls faints.
The nun (Pascale Petit) tells the priest(Massimo Girotti)about her past and then a long flashback begins ,which is the essential of the story.
A story which is worthy of Harlequin romance:the girl got a crush on a student in law (Jean-Paul Belmondo!) .And her mother,who had been in need of men since her husband's demise ,also found a lover.And you would never guess who that lover was!Tragedy is around the corner.
Massimo Girotti tries hard to make his part of a priest believable.And Petit's last line is worth the price of admission.If you look below the surface of it,it may be a curio ,at a pinch.At a pinch.
