Malachi Throne provided the voice of the Talosian Keeper in the first pilot Star Trek: The Cage (1986), which was also Leonard Nimoy's first "Star Trek" appearance. Throne was also with Nimoy for his final "Star Trek" television appearance, Star Trek: The Next Generation: Unification II (1991).

Spock (Leonard Nimoy) holds the rank of Commander based on the rank stripes on his uniform (two solid gold bands), however there are several times throughout the series where he is referred to as Lieutenant Commander. However a Lieutenant Commander's rank stripes consist of one solid gold band and one dashed/segmented band.
On some episodes, the closing credits show a still that is actually from the Star Trek blooper reel. It is a close-up of the actor who played the android body in "Return to Tomorrow, removing his latex make up. In the reel, He is shown taking it off, while an off-screen voice says "You wanted show business, you got it!"
