  • I don't know why I was thinking of this movie. It was about a cocky guy in his late 30's early 40's who plays a regular touch football game in the park. (Central Park?) He gets taken to school by a younger man and has to come to terms with his limitations of age. It ends with a nice touch.

I remember seeing this movie in a strange place. My 6th grade teacher showed it the class and attempted to have a discussion afterword. Why he thought that a bunch of 12 year olds would get this what he thought we would understand about midlife crises is beyond me or was trying to accomplish is beyond me to understand?
  • I think I saw this as the trailer to the Woody Allen film, Bananas. It was a surprisingly interesting and engaging short film. I haven't seen it in decades, since I saw it in 1971. But I still remember the plot and the interesting actors. The young man, the aging "veteran" obth well played. It was a sweet film.
