This film was typical of many "R" rated films that came out at the time. It concerned itself with the effects of the burgeoning sexual revolution on a "typical" married french couple with two children whose marriage had lost its "spark".The lead male was what can only be described as a dweeb who had somehow landed a gorgeous, sexy wife who was having both financial and surprisingly sexual problems (the two problems were apparently related).Voila! he invests in a "Sex Shop" which solves both of his problems, but of course she is reluctant to engage in the new "swinging" lifestyle it entails. The comedy mostly revolves around both his and her initiation into the new sexual freedom (How this slightly fat, balding guy attracted such beautiful women is beyond me!)However, the thing that impressed me most was how well the french was dubbed into English. If it had not been for the occasional signs in french, I would have sworn this movie was shot in english.Overall this was one of the better sex(non-pornographic) films of its time--and even now.
