On a long-distance train trip, a man finds romance but also finds himself in danger of being killed, or at least pushed off the train.
The film was the first picture made by Martin Ransohoff Frank Yablans Productions. The producers were so impressed with Colin Higgins' script that they made it the first film of their then new production company.
Is there any way to get to the engine from here?
Ralston: There's no way to get to the engine at all. How come we're going so fast?
George Caldwell: There's nobody driving the train.
Ralston: Oh, that's impossible. The train would stop.
George Caldwell: Does it look like it is stopping to you?
Ralston: Sure ...
As the locomotive passes through the gift shop in the station you can see a small box on the floor which explodes just before the train gets to it.
