On his way to work, Teddy spots Charlotte - an incredibly beautiful Woman in Red. He really wants to meet her - but what would his wife say?
The film has been memorable due to its theme tune "I Just Called to Say I Love You" sung by Stevie Wonder which won the Academy Award for Best Song. The soundtrack was also composed by Wonder and also featured performances by Dionne Warwick.
What was I thinking. I have kids, a wife and a good marriage. And to think I could have wrecked it and for what?
Teddy Pierce: Take a look at those legs. Say she is kind of cute though. Ok knock it off! I learned my lesson and I will never do it again.
In the opening scene, Theodore Pierce is shown on a ledge with his back up against the building. The ledge is reasonably wide, and his feet are clearly at least a couple of feet from the edge. When the camera goes in for a closeup, however, his feet are right at the edge, implying a much narrower ledge. In addition to the above, in the long shot, he is standing in front of the window . . . the seagull lands . . . and cut to the closeup, he is now on the ledge between two windows. There was not enough "real time" for him to move sideways on the ledge.
