5 | Poor sequel but deserves to be seen on its own not as an edited part of a TV show with snarky commentary
A professor (Charles B. Pierce) takes three students into the wilderness to hunt for proof of the Boggy Creek monster. ...

Old Man Crenshaw:
Lord'ah mercy, I gotta tend to my fires.
At then end of the flashback about Otis Tucker, he is stated to have never regained consciousness after his encounter with the creature, meaning that no one could possibly know that it even was an encounter with the creature or any of the details of how it happened. A likely explanation is that Dr. Lockhart simply took an account of an unexplained murder and added his own details, including arbitrarily attributing it to the creature with no evidence. Otherwise, it's simply a massive plot hole.
