Michael Biehn was given James Remar's armor to wear after Remar left the production, but felt the bright red heart Remar had painted on his chest plate was a bit over-the-top, saying that to him it looked too much like a bullseye, giving an enemy a convenient place to aim.

Corporal Hicks gives Ripley a wristband that has a tracker in it. Hicks can always find her with the locator that he has. Later Ripley gives this to Newt but does not tell anyone. Near the end of the movie Newt slides down a shoot and Corporal Hicks excitingly exclaims "We can find her with this" and holds up his locator, but he shouldn't know that Newt has the wristband.
As the final credits fade, there is the sound of a facehugger scurrying across from left to right.
