The inquest had gone in for "three and a half hours", yet no one had mentioned that LV426 had been colonized for over twenty years? One would think that would be one of Van Leuwen's first responses to Ripley's claim the planet had hostile Aliens on it.
As the final credits fade, there is the sound of a facehugger scurrying across from left to right.
