The Dark Knight of Gotham City begins his war on crime with his first major enemy being the clownishly homicidal Joker.
The Joker's line "Take thy beak from out my heart" (said at Vale's apartment) is from Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven". The full line is 'Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!' (the "beak" being of the raven).
Tourist Dad: I'm sorry, this is my cab.
Tourist Dad: Listen, I was here first!
Tourist Dad: Oh, God! Oh, taxi? Taxi!
When the Batmobile's machine guns shoot an opening into the Axis Chemical company, the panel that falls down has a perfectly smooth flat border, not one with bullet hole edges.
The opening credits appear as the camera goes through/around a giant Batman symbol.
