An old Jewish woman and her African-American chauffeur in the American South have a relationship that grows and improves over the years.
So convinced was she that she would lose out, Jessica Tandy had a one hundred dollar bet with her agent, that she wouldn't win the Oscar for Best Actress. When she paid up on Oscar night, she told him that it was the best bet she had ever lost.
I suppose you don't get out to see her very much.
