  • Michael Hui teams up with his brother Ricky for this crime comedy where fortune teller Feel Bone Hui (Michael Hui) gives pretentious forecasts, and ends up being investigated by revenue agent Yau Ho-Kay (Leon Lai) for failing to pay taxes. However, a robbery attempt and a blow to the head enabled Hui in receiving psychic powers. Thus, hoping this would get the agent off his back, he uses his new-found powers to try to help the agent solve a drug smuggling case that has been plaguing the revenue service.

As always Michael and Ricky delivered some laugh-out-loud and unique-flavored comedy. Their screen presence captures the audience's attention, along with the well-acted supporting cast of Winnie Lau, Chi Wah Wang and Philip Chan. Leon Lai was OK as the agent (his performance didn't blow me away), but Kong Fong as the main villain was conniving, yet hilarious at the same time.

The psychic-power subplot couple with the main story of the revenue agent pursuing the drug kingpin (Kong Fong) complimented each other very well and made it an exciting movie from start to finish. Also, the dramatic teamwork between Hui and Kay were pretty uplifting to watch, as is Kay's mission to solve the case and make a better living for himself and his elderly mother.

It's good old fashion suspense to keep you captivated.
