A group of twenty-something friends, most of whom live in the same apartment complex, search for love and success in grunge-era Seattle.
Bill Pullman originally turned down the film.
Hey, Babe? Don't get me sick. I'm playin' this weekend.
When Steve and Linda are washing dishes they break a dish. They bend down to clean it up and end up sitting on the floor. At first they are several feet apart (enough space for a broken dish). Suddenly they are close enough to kiss.
Steve (Campbell Scott) goes to a house looking for Linda (Kyra Sedgwick), but a woman at the house (Debbie Mazar) tells him that she's moved out to live with some guy.
