During a preview tour, a theme park suffers a major power breakdown that allows its cloned dinosaur exhibits to run amok.
Location shooting began on Kauai in August, 1992, for three weeks. Kauai was chosen, because it was the perfect environment, if you wanted to see a dinosaur, and it was strong visually. Steven Spielberg wanted the park itself to look as real as possible.

Everybody, heads up! Heads up! Keep clear! Keep it clear! Okay, down! Andale, si! Vamonos. Keep it goin'! Come on! That's good, stay! Slow it down. No lo vayan a tirar! Cuidado! Traigala, traigala!

Worker in Raptor Pen: Move it! Cuidado...
When the goat is offered to the T. rex, you hear the bleating sound of a sheep as opposed to a goat's bleating sound.
There are no opening credits after the title has been shown.
