Follows the personal and professional lives of six 20 to 30-something-year-old friends living in Manhattan.
In the episode where Monica buys her wedding gown, she is seen wearing one dress in the boutique. When she goes to get the dress on sale she shows Phoebe and Rachel a picture of a different dress to find. Then she fights over a completely different ... ...
Why do you have to break up with her? Be a man. Just stop calling.
In early seasons there are wood boards in Monica's apartment that go from the floor to the ceiling. In later seasons there are only wood boards by the fridge. In fact, certain directors for the show enjoyed putting their own mark on the episodes they directed. In the case of the visible wooden beam furthest "downstage" it was known as the mark of James Burrows, and would appear every time he directed an episode.
When the "The One That Could Have Been" was divided into two parts for syndication, a sequence was added that had the ending credits superimposed. It shows fat Monica dancing to some music while eating some food. The original hourlong airing of "The One That Could Have Been" did not have the credits at the end of the first half hour and this scene was not involved.
